What is an orangery?

Years ago, during one of the hardest seasons of my life, a dear friend shared a picture of how they saw our family.

They said we were like an orange tree, planted in the front yard, with people walking by and taking oranges to nourish themselves. That image brought me to tears.

At the time, we were living in an under-served community, doing everything we could to create hope, safe spaces, and connection for others. We hosted events, built community, and welcomed young people from around the world into our lives to emulate this kinda life where THEY live.

Together, we worked to create something bigger than ourselves—a culture of generosity that grew and spread to those around us.

A few years ago, I began asking: What would it look like to take all we’ve learned and build something new? That’s how Orangery Solutions was born — a place where leaders can thrive, just like orange trees in an ‘Orangery’ (a greenhouse specifically built to sustain Orange Trees year-round).
